Empowering Learning

Diamond Cutters International, a Houston-based jewelry company known for its leadership in the diamond industry, is partnering with Books Between Kids to host a book drive benefiting children in need across Houston. The initiative, launched to celebrate Diamond Cutter International’s 40th anniversary, aims to support childhood literacy by providing access to books for underprivileged kids, empowering them to build a lifelong love of reading.

Join the Effort

From now until the end of 2025, we invite you to drop off new or gently used children's books at the Diamond Cutters International headquarters, located at 4265 San Felipe St., Suite 960, Houston, TX 77027.

Books suitable for kids from preschool through 8th grade are especially needed. These donations will go directly to Books Between Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to turning Houston’s surplus of gently used books into treasures for children who may not have books of their own. In addition, Spanish language books are highly sought after.

Learning Should Not Be Luxury Badge

Why Participate?

Houston is home to thousands of children who lack access to quality books, hindering their educational and personal development. 85% of elementary-aged children live at or below the poverty line here. Your donation can make a tangible difference in these children's lives by fostering curiosity, imagination, and academic success. At Diamond Cutters International, we believe that jewels are a luxury, but learning shouldn’t be.

How to Donate

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM

Let's come together to make reading accessible for every child in Houston. Whether you donate a single book or a box full, every contribution matters.
