5) Practicing "Safe Proposal"

He was to pick me up after I got off from work to take some pictures. When I came out of the office he was sitting in the lobby with a box of condoms & a rose. I didn’t realize what he was doing at first, and when he said he was nervous about doing this, I was scared. I met him seven years ago in the lobby of the student union building of our college (across from where I now work), while I giving out condoms & pamphlets on safe sex. He explained that he met me at that exact spot years ago and could think of a better palce to do "this." At that point, I was in shock, but knew exactly what was to come. He is not the so-called all out romantic so all this was more than I could have asked for and when he got down on his knee, I was in tears. Afterwards, we went to take the pictures, but unknown to me, he had a lot more in store. When we got home, I opened the door to find 11 more roses, a teasure chest with 7 chocolates ( representing our 7 years together), 3 chocolates inside of it (for the past, present, & future), scented candles, a card for the bride-to-be, champagne & a dinner setting for two awaiting me.

After dinner, be prepared a candle lit bath for me, followed by a candle lit massage. I can’t tell you what happened next, but I woke up the following morning happier than I’ve ever been in my life. He went all out for me and I not only love him, but appreciate him for it.
