5) It's In The Cards

My boyfriend picked me up for my eighteenth birthday, right before we left my parents house he handed me a card and told me to put it in my purse and not to open it until he told me to. After he gave me the card he took me out to eat at an Italian restaurant. After we ate dinner we left the restaurant. When I walked outside the restaurant there was a white limousine waiting for me.

The limo driver was standing near the limousine door and said Your chariot a waits. When I got inside the limo, there was 2 dozen of long-stemmed red roses and eighteen birthday cards on the seat. My boyfriend got me a card for every year I had a birthday, since I had never received a birthday card. So I sat on the seat and read every card he wrote me. The limo driver drove us around town and stopped at the lake to take pictures of us together. After we took pictures, he drove us to the beach.

Me and my boyfriend got out of the limo and my boyfriend asked me to give him the first card he gave me. We walked on the beach and we stopped at this bench. He then opened the card, and read it to me. It said, "You Complete Me.. Without you I would be lost. I love you with all of my heart, mind, body, and soul. You’re the one God made for me My Soul mate, My Friend, My buddy, through good times and bad, though happy or sad, beside me you stand, beside me you walk, youre there to listen, youre there to talk, with happiness, with smiles, with pain and tears, I know youll be there, each and every year!!!!"

Time to be Happy. Take my days and fill them softly with your smiles. Take my nights and warm them gently with your kisses Take my love and hold it closely to your heartand I will give you all thats mine to give. He then got down on his knee and said "My Love, Will you marry me?" and I said, "Yes."
