Matthew and I are a match made in heaven. And his proposal to me was quite a heavenly experience too. I had just got my wisdom teeth pulled, and I was in great pain. I was still under the influence of the meds that they gave me to put me under while they did the surgery. I was at home laying in bed, almost bleeding to death. I had gauze packed into my mouth and my cheeks were so swollen. I really looked like a picture of hurt. I heard Matthew tip-toe into the bedroom and nudge me a little. It was all I could do to open my eyes. Then he asked me to sit up for a second. I whined a little, and he helped me slouch up in the bed. He pulled me so that my feet hung off the sides. He kneeled down next to the bed and pulled out a ring box. I was so out of it, I had no idea what was going on. He started to cry and managed to get out that he wanted to get married. I then realized what was going on. I tried to smile, but it hurt too bad. I managed to mumb!
le "yes" through a guaze packed mouth. We hugged a little and I layed back down and went to sleep. That was it. It was a day that I will never forget, one, because I got engaged, and, two, it was the worst pain that I had ever felt!!!
