I was in the military and working in processing, where I welcome new soldiers to the unit. One night this girl came in and she got assigned to our unit. Well days and weeks go by and I still didn’t have the courage to ask her out. Well one day during lunch one of my friends came to my room. I guess he got tired of me talking about her, cause he grabbed this stuff polar-bear off my stand and ran it down to her room.
She came to my room and thanked me. After that we started hanging out and got together. Well a few months went by and our relationship was nice…One night watching "Full House," one of the characters asked his female partner to marry him. So I turned to her and ask her if she wanted a ring. She said "yes."
The next day at work I told her after work I had to run an errand with a friend. So after work me and my friend went to the jewelry store and picked out a ring. We went back to the barracks. Well I knocked on her door and she opened it and said "what’s going on." We all entered her room.
While I got down on my knee, I think my friend was more anxious than me, cause he grabbed her hand. She smiled. She looked at me and said "no you didn’t." I took the ring out of the case and slipped it on her hand and asked her. She said "yes." My friend left and my girl and I celebrated with the dinner she was making when I was getting the ring. Well everyone knows the rest….
