4) Movie Night

We were both active duty military when we first met. I was really leary as I was a single parent with three young children. As it turned out, both the children and my then intended got along like a house on fire. We’d moved in together and I thought everything was great when one evening he came out of our room on "movie night." He had a small card, one like you receive to a birthday party, and handed it to me. I was very puzzled and the kids were very curious, of course. When I opened the card, it said "Will you marry me?" and had two small boxes. One had "no" and one had "yes" beside it. It still makes me laugh because it reminds me of the George Strait song, "Check Yes or No."
