4) A Rainy Day in the Park

Well, I have been dating Mmichael since December 1, 2000. We have known each other all of our lives, though. Our mothers were best friends before we were born, so we always had gatherings together and Michael would come over when our family lived at the apartments and we would always play on this certain playground. Well, on January 23, 2002 Michael tells me that he needs to go somewhere and when we get there he says, "Well, let’s go to the playground where we used to play all the time." So, we went over there and we were going to slide down the slide and swing but it had been raining and there were puddles everywhere. I stated that I thought it was sweet but let’s go, but then Michael says he needs to tell me something and that to please not get mad at him and he starts shaking and crying and then he pulls the ring out and gets on one knee and asks me to marry him. Of course, I said, "Yes!" and then bawled my eyes out and screamed at the top of my lungs. We then went and told everybody and then when I got home he had a package for me that said that he was going to give it to me for Valentine’s Day. So, I opened it and it was a picture of him asking me to marry him at the park. He had gotten my dad to go up in a vacant apartment by the playground and take pictures and video tape him asking me to marry him. How sweet!
