3) The Note

I got home from my night class at LeMoyne around 8:30 Thursday and there was a note on the table that said, "Leave your name at the desk, I’ll do the rest". That’s all it said, so I’m looking through the house for other clues (I thought I missed something), checked my email, and couldn’t find any more clues. But in the process of looking through the house for other clues I noticed that some of my things were missing and it looked like he packed an overnight bag for me. So now I’m getting suspicious… shortly after a white stretch limo pulls up so I go out and he said, "Are you Carrie?" I said, "Yes." He said "Shawn sent me for you." So then I start giggling and said, "I have to let the dog out first." Now I’m thinking he’s probably proposing tonight. I had a hard time locking the door when I left the house because now I’m really excited. I go to the limo and asked if Shawn was in it and he said no……..(and they even rolled out a red carpet for me to get in the limo.) The limo takes me to a hotel in Carrier Circle- Jacuzzi room….very nice. When I get out,the lady at the front desk said, "You must be Carrie." I said, "Yes," and she hands me a red rose and the room key. So I pretty much run to the room, because now I’m really excited. I fumbled with the card key a few times but was finally able to let myself in. He had the room lit with tons of candles, music playing, a jacuzzi with bubbles, wine and pizza, the works. I couldn’t think of a thing he missed. I walked in and I said, "Oh my god!" He then gets down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said YES! A very romantic proposal! It was perfect. The ring is beautiful!
