3) Look at the Boards!

I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a young child and teaching has always been my passion in life. I have been fortunate enough to follow my dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. I currently teach fourth grade at a small catholic elementary school just outside of Boston. My boyfriend knows how important teaching is to me and he wanted to make the proposal extra special. He decided to go into my classroom the day before school got out and write all over my chalkboards, Will you marry me? He also hung up 21 pictures of us, (which symbolizes the day of my birthday, July 21st) all over the walls.

The next day, was the last day of the school year. I walked in my classroom and found three dozen roses which were pink, red, and purple, my favorite colors. Then out of nowhere, my boyfriend jumped out of the closet, and said "Look at the boards!" He then got down on one knee and said "Will you marry me?" I was so happy! I screamed and jumped with excitement. Then my students came into the classroom and were so amazed. We then took pictures with them.
