5) WOW, What Can I Say

WOW, what can I say. I met Joe on the internet
in a 40’s chat room. My life up to that point was more or less
useless and senseless. I lost my mother on my birthday and my then
husband dumped me on the side of the road and said "I dont
want to be married anymore so see ya." Nice guy. Anyway I
called my son and my son and daughter joined forces and sent me
to Michigan to be with my daughter.

She put me on the internet
thinking that talking with other people would help me get thru
the death
of my mother. Luckily I met Joe in the chat room where I met
a lot of nice people who if it wasn’t for all those that I met
I dont
know where I would be today.

Joe and I hit it off right away
and we spent hours talking to each other thru the net, emailing
etc.
It got to the point where he and I would talk on the phone
once in a while. He lived in illinois I was in mich so calls weren’t
to fregrent. He asked if I would come to Illinois to meet him,
I wasnt sure.

At this point we both had feelings, but I put
him
off for a while. I was beginning to fall in love with this
man, he was just to good to be true. This was in 2000. Anyway,
love blossomed and we both knew it, I came to Illinois and guess
what
I stayed.

He asked me to marry him over the internet but
I wouldn’t give him an answer until after we had met. I came to
Illinois and
yes he
asked me again and this time I said yes.

He has 4 young
children whose mother gave up her rights in march of 2000. I
knew all
this before I came here. We were married in 2002 and the
kids
were
in
the wedding. They call me Mom and they are my kids also.

It is a wonder that by meeting someone over the
internet could turn
out to be a perfect man.

I am so happy I took the chance
and came.

I have never had a more peaceful life than I
have with Joe and the kids.

It’s a perfect marriage.

The one I
always
dreamed I
would
have and so has he.
