I met Harold July 12th 1997 while driving one night with a girlfriend of mine. Although Harold was so very rough around the edges like a freshly mined diamond, I definitely could see he was IF well maybe not IF but at least VVS1 quality to me. The next couple of years were spent in lovers heaven. In 1999 we found out that we would be blessed with a beautiful little girl, we named Jazzemin. At this time I felt that marriage should have been right around the corner, but that’s not how Harold felt.
Well one day Harry was making his normal "sports authority comments"; in his so called sports dome as Jazzy & I watched a wedding program in the bedroom. Not realizing what impression this show would have had on our 3-year-old daughter, Jazzy went to Harold and just out of the blue said, "Daddy you get married?" Harold was quite surprised and was sure that I had put her up to this. So he replied, "what?" she then said, "you know married, boy, girl, kiss" and puckered her two lips out while humming "mmmm"; from this he did not reply.
A month had gone by without a single world of marriage. Then one night while washing Jazzy in the tub like we always did, Harold whispered something into Jazzy’s ear. Jazzy then said, "Mommy you love Daddy?" I looked at him said yes. I then whispered in Jazzy’s ear. She then said, "Daddy you love Mommy? He said yes. Then he whispered into her ear again. Jazzy then said, " Mommy you marry Daddy" I started crying and said, "YES".
We plan to be married in July of 2004.
