4) A Grave Proposal

My proposal happened at the graveyard in front of his mother and grand mothers grave. I had no idea it was going to happen. We all went, the children he and myself. Before we left the house he asked my oldest child to bring the camera. I didn’t think anything of it. We went to church, had a great time then after church we went to the cemetery where his grandmother, who had raised him as a child, rested and his mother who rested not to far away.

First we went to his grandmother’s gravesite. He got on his knees and asked me to marry him and had our daughter take a picture. I said yes, then we went to where his mother laid rest for her approval and he asked me again and I said yes. He ask my daughter to take another picture of him holding my hand proposing with the ring putting it on my finger . But when you look at the picture I have this look of disbelief on my face because I can’t believe this is happening to me or where it ‘s happening at. I just never could imagined it would happen in a cemetery. It was a special moment.
