I proposed to my girlfriend by leaving her poems. I awoke on the morning of our special day and left her a note to check her email. She thought that I was going to work, but I was not. The email was a "email card" in informing her that today was going to be a special day and I had a poem for her which was in the drawer next to the refrigerator. She went to the drawer and found an envelope which had been sealed by wax and a stamp in the shape of a heart.
She opened the poem and it stated that today was our day and that she needed to pack her bags for a two night stay.
At two o’clock she was suppose to goto the farm of Robert Frost the great American poet in which there was a second poem behind sign post eight and attached to tree. At two o’clock with her bags packed she went to the farm and found the second poem. The poem state that she needed to goto the state of Maine at a particular Bed and Breakfast where our lives would come together. She drove to the bed and breakfast with the help of the directions I had left her in the second envelope.
When she arrived to the B&B there was a bottle of wine along with a third poem. The third poem told her to come down the the beach and walk along a path on the ocean. At bench number 5 she would find me. When she arrived I was waiting for her and I sat her down and asked her to be my wife. She said yes.
