1) Her Spirit

In 1988 my wife vanida was admitted to thonburi
hospital in bangkok thailand with terminal cancer and we discussed
her wishes for her funeral. She was more concerned about who was
going to take care of me after she was gone. We cried and the next
day she passed away from cancer.

One of the head nurses name was
Valida, one letter difference from my wifes name. She was very
supportive during the time I stayed by my wifes bedside before
she passed away. After the funeral I went back to the hospital
to pay the final bill and to thank all the doctors and nurses
for being so nice to me and my wife and Valida gave me her name
and address.

We wrote for about 3 months and I later asked
her to marry me. I feel that my first wifes spirit brought her
to me to take care of me and we have been married for 17 years
since her death.

It was a happy ending to a very sad story.
