Diamond Values over last 30 years

Topic: The Diamond

How much have diamonds increased in value of the last 30 years? Would they be a good investment, thus increasing in value above inflation rates?

Many thanks

Hi Emma,
Q#1 Which sizes & qualities?
Q#2 Diamonds are not and should never be considered as a form of investment. They are symbols. The good ones hold their value and appreciate an average of 6.25-8.25% annually but unless you are in the diamond business it is very hard for an individual to resell a diamond on the secondary market and turn a profit.
